Michael Wolf is the founder and chief analyst of NextMarket Insights. Wolf has been advising companies large and small in the connected home, consumer technology and Internet of Things market verticals for over 15 years. Wolf's clients have used his advisory services to assist with product development, go-to-market strategy, marketing and advertising, and mergers and acquisition. He and the NextMarket team currently advise startups and Fortune 500 companies in the areas of Internet of Things, smart home, wearables and digital media.
Wolf has written for the New York Times, CNN, Gigaom and Forbes, and currently contributes to Forbes. He has also published a book with Pearson on the connected consumer. He holds an MBA from Thunderbird, the American Graduate School of International Management.
At NextMarket, he is responsible for all syndicated research and manages NextMarket's advisory services. His current areas of focus include smart home, digital media, wearables, security and digital distribution.
In 2015, Wolf and the NextMarket team created the first and only event exploring the intersection of tech, food, design and commerce in the connected kitchen called the Smart Kitchen Summit. The event is returning on October 5-6 2016.
