In this conversation, I talk to Alan Levy, the founder & CEO of BlogTalkRadio.
Alan first started blogging as a way to communicate about his father's battle with cancer. That start eventually evolved into BlogTalkRadio, as Alan looked for a way to making blogging and online conversation more about realtime voice and actual conversation.
In this podcast, Alan and I talk about those early days, how he sees live Internet talk evolving, how he sees AM radio and traditional talk radio playing out, and how BlogTalkRadio is beginning to embrace established radio personalities such as Tavis Smiley as radio declines and more people tune to the Internet for live voice and podcasts.
