You can listen to my conversation with Andrew Savikas by hitting the orange play button above, or by downloading it from iTunes or through RSS.

This one is for the book and publishing nerds out there.

In late 2012, I had a chance to talk to the CEO of Safari Books Online, Andrew Savikas. For those in the digital publishing industry, Safari (and O'Reilly, which co-owns Safari with Pearson) has been one of the leading lights in foraging new ground in innovative publishing business models, and Andrew is widely respected across the industry for his thoughts about the future of publishing.

Andrew and I talk about a number of topics, including the future of book subscription models, social reading, interactive and enhanced e-books, book publishing tools, book atomization and new book monetization models.

If you're at all interested in the future of publishing, I'd recommend you listen to this podcast!
